These are air roasted to extract and develop the natural flavours of their regions, on the Wild Coast of South Africa our roasting process by means of a Fluid Bed Roaster, the Coffee beans are “Air Roasted”. In a vortex of hot air, which enables the beans to roast evenly and cleanly.

The smoke, chaff and oils released from the beans during the roasting process are immediately removed from the roasting process. This prevents the bitter aftertaste associated with the conventional roasting process.

Join me for an interactive experience where you and a your family or friends can experience the joy of roasting coffee, from weighing and loading the green beans, watching colour changes
throughout the roast, experiencing the different aromas, listening for the cracks as the beans change stages, to dropping the coffee in the cooler, and helping weigh grind and package.
